FOTD ft. Sleek Pout Polish in Bare Minimum

Hey guys! Me again!

I just thought I'd show you one of the more recent additions to my make-up bag. It's Sleek's Pout Polish from their Nude Collection in the shade Bare Minimum :)

As you know, I am a HUGE fan of Sleek's Pout Polishes. I've reviewed Pink Cadillac, Sugar May & Scandal in the past and I just find them so quick & easy for a swipe of colour and instant moisture.

Now I'm going to start by saying I know I didn't NEED this! Not a good start to a review lol BUT I thought it would come in handy when I'm in a rush in the mornings and I just need to put something on my lips! I know from experience they last a couple of hours as well so I thought I'd give this shade a go!

Sleek describe Bare Minimum as a "glossy nude with Jojoba, avocado and sweet Almond oils, ensuring that chapped lips are a thing of the past."

I have to say this Pout Polish is just fab! Yes, it's essentially colourless, but sometimes that's all I fancy when I don't want to draw attention to my face lol.

I bought mine for £4.30 from Superdrug.

IMO Sleek's Pout Polishes are absolutely second to none and I would buy all of the shades if my budget would allow!! Bare Minimum is now a make-up bag staple of mine and I'm so glad I bought the product I know I didn't need but really really wanted!

Sleek Pout Polish in Scandal review!

Hey gals!

How have you all been? I feel like I've been away from the blogosphere for an AGE! I haven't been up to much, just working, spending, going out, you know, the usual!

One of the more recent beauty products I have bought includes the limited edition Sleek Pout Polish in Scandal. Sadly it's not sold in shops anymore (I've bought my other ones - Pink Cadillac and LE Sugar May in Superdrug) so I bought this on eBay instead for about four quid. I loves it so far :)

Sleek say...

"A tinted lip conditioning balm formulated with natural oils such as Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Avocado Extract and Vitamin A, C and E to help condition the lips and lock in moisture. It also includes SPF15 to help protect the lips from sun exposure."

Scandal is a vibrant, sexy tomato red!

I freaking love these Pout Polishes! They're so colourful but super moisturising and taste delicious. Oh, and did I mention they're SPF15? Perfect for summer! Scandal is definitely more pigmented than the other shades I've tried, but it's a good thing because it looks like you've just smothered strawberries across your lips, really schmexy :)

What do you think? Is this something you'd buy? Do you know of something similar that I should try e.g. the MAC tinted lip conditioners or the ELF studio conditioning lip balm?

When the Easter Bunny paid a visit...

Hey girls!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

This is the collection of Easter eggs I received yesterday. I have yet to eat a single one. I don't really know when to eat one?! After lunch I just fancy a yoghurt and then in the evening I'm already feeling kinda sluggish! I've got a feeling these aren't going to get eaten before I go back to uni on Sun! Any willing consumers in the Horsham area please contact me ASAP, lol!

I was also able to drink caffeine again after giving it up for Lent - I had a Diet Coke and a cup of coffee. As soon as I did, I felt bloated, my teeth felt funny and I was dying for the loo, so I think I'm going to continue to cut it out of my diet! If I'm tired I'll just have a glass of water instead...

Yesterday I just went for a run (did I mention I've signed up to do the 5k Race for Life for Cancer Research? Woop!) and then I had a Sunday lunch, before helping my Dad move his stuff out of his house. I earnt 20 squid, score, especially considering the amount of online shopping I've been doing recently!

I wore a simple tank, black leggings and a pashmina. Chill-out clothes :)

Here's how I did my make-up...

FACE: No7 Colour Calming Primer, Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation in 72 Rose Clair, Maybelline Pure Cover Mineral Concealer in Natural (I've gone off Benefit Boi-ing at the mo - my skin's been really bad!) and GOSH Natural Touch Cream Blusher in Peachy Rush.

EYES: Urban Decay baked e/s in Buck all over lid, Avon Color Trend Double Ended Kajal Stick in Brown on upper lid and lower waterline and No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara in Brown. Mac Eye Brows in Lingering.

LIPS: Sleek Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac.

Here's how I did my hair...

After said run, my hair was in no fit condition to be worn down! I simply sprayed some of my new Batiste Blonde dry shampoo and tied it up into a messy bun.
Lovely jubbly!

Sleek Pout Polish in Sugar May - It's love!

Hey lovelies!

I went into Superdrug recently to have a browse and search for Sleek's Pout Polish in Electro Peach. You may remember I posted about my love for my first Sleek Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac and I've been lusting after the other shades since, notably Electro Peach. However, upon swatching Electro Peach in Superdrug it didn't quite tickle my fancy. It was a bright, almost neon peach and I was expecting more of a nudey peach.

Cue Sugar May...

Part of the brand's Limited Edition avoir la peche collection, I'm so glad this one caught my eye instead!
It appears quite bright in the pot, but it looks beautiful on the lips.

It's a lovely nude peach, perfect for summer days. I've been wearing it on my lips almost every day since, it smells delicious and it looks so natural.

It's sold in Superdrug for £4.29. I received 10% NUS Extra student discount so I got it for only £3.87! It's absolutely worth every penny! I would recommend this to you if you prefer a natural look on your lips, I know I do :)
