Bargain of the Week: Celeb Autobiographies at The Works!

How are you all? Enjoying this lovely sunny weather I hope!

So today's post deviates slightly from my standard fashion/beauty blogging, but this week's Bargain of the Week was so amazing I just had to share it with you guys!

I picked up these celeb books in The Works recently, and while I can't review them as I haven't read them all yet lol I still couldn't wait to share this massive bargain! 

Being Cheryl - RRP £20 NOW £2.99

So first up we have this book on the nation's sweetheart, Cheryl (as she now likes to be known!) I've always had a soft spot for Cheryl as she comes from a disadvantaged background and fought her way to the top, which I admire. This book features Cheryl's fave fashion, beauty and health tips as well so I can't wait to read it!

Fierce by Kelly Osbourne - RRP £14.99 NOW 49p

Now Kelly Osbourne isn't a star whose autobiography I would normally buy, but I figured as she's quite an outspoken celeb she would have some good things to say! Also you can't beat the 49p price tag... bargain!!!

Wicked Whispers by Jessica Callan - RRP £16.99 NOW 29p 

 Now I don't know about you guys but I'm a massive fan of celeb gossip! Not only am I on the Mail Online every other second checking what the Kardashians et al are up to, but I also really like these 'behind the scenes' kind of books. I read Mark Frith's book (ex-editor of Heat) and I loved reading all the goss, so I can't wait to read ex-3am journalist Jessica Callan's as well!

In total, these books came to just £3.77... saving a massive £48.21! I will definitely be popping into The Works again and having a look at what other books they've got. Also, I picked up a book on the kings and queens of England... because I'm a bit of a geek like that! Haha.

More car boot bargains!

Hey gals!

I hit up a local car boot recently (reppin Pease Pottage) and picked up some amazing bargains, thanks Mum! You may remember my recent car boot post where I found some gorgeous tan leather boots for a mere £2.50! You can take a peek at my previous boot sale bargain finds here, here and here :) Warning: You may get slightly jealous of my bargain hunting abilities!

Here's what I picked up this time...

Black wool wrap cardigan - £1 (Zara)

I know, what a find huh! I love the shape, colour, design and it's ZARA... for a quid! I dread to think how much the seller paid for it originally! I gave it a wash, and cut off some of the stray threads and it's as good as new, I could even team it with those tan leather biker boots I bought last time at car boot... no shame!

Black patent shoulder bag - 20p (Vintage)

Literally the price of a refresher bar, this little beauty is perfect for nights out on the town. I can just pop it over my shoulder and it will go with EVERYTHING! The clasp even works as well, what a bargain!

Gold embossed hoop earrings - 50p

I must own hundreds of pairs of gold earrings (see my accessories storage post) but none like these :) I plan on wearing them with a bright maxi dress for daytime wear or bodycon dress come night-time. Love them, so summery!

Max Clifford biography - 50p

Not everyone's cup of tea but PR guru Max Clifford is a legend in the media world. And he's minted. Now he's even representing Lauren from TOWIE, wow! (jk) I'm gonna read this before I go to bed when I cba to really think if you know what I mean, and maybe I'll learn a thing or two about the savage media world? Who knows!

Well you can't go wrong with that! It's the same price as as M&S Superfood Shaker Salad that I could devour in minutes! Well these are all still here!

Car Boot Bargains - Take 2!

Hey everyone!

I popped home recently and noticed there was a car boot happening at a local school. Some people may turn their noses up at car boots, but I've picked up some amazing bargains in the past (see my Car Boot Bargains post from last year here) and I've made some good money selling my old clothes as well!

Here's what I picked up this time...

No7 Make-up Bag - 50p

It was love at first sight! I already have a wide array of make-up/beauty bags but this one from No7 seemed right up my street (it even matches my purse - yay!)

It's quite small but it fits in all my handbag essentials (hand sanitizer, tissues, hand cream and eye drops - glamorous!)

Paperchase Notepad - 50p

How cute? This was brand new from Paperchase, and I know how expensive Paperchase stuff is! It features little plastic pockets inside it as well, so I plan to use it for recipes as my current recipe book is currently bursting at the seams!

Wuthering Heights - 20p

OK, so the only reason I bought this is because Bella references it in Twilight! Who's with me?! I've been wanting it for ages as I've heard it's one of the most tragic love stories - I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into it!

Laptop case - 50p

Literally couldn't have come across this at a better time! I'd come home with my laptop but misplaced my old laptop case just before I left, so I was travelling with it in the bottom of my suitcase, hoping it didn't get smashed up! Luckily it didn't, but this laptop case is 10x better than my old one!
First of all, it's got handles! My old one didn't, and it's got little pouches as well for all the cables that go with your laptop. As you can see, with my Dell laptop in it (above) - it's perfect!

The moral of this blog post is to not turn up your noses at car boots - all the stuff I bought came to only £1.70 and I couldn't be happier with it all! It's like shopping, but without the guilt of spending! Think of it as eBay without the shipping costs... haha!
